Are you a driven Project Engineer with several years of experience in designing technical solutions? Do you want to work in a dynamic environment where you play a key role in the complete process from design to realization of the final product? Then we are looking for you!
As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for the design and development of products and processes within the engineering department. You work closely with various departments, such as R&D, sales, purchasing, work preparation, the production of Double Deck trailers and the regular new construction department. Thanks to your technical insight and creativity, you ensure that designs are not only realized efficiently, but are also smarter, more sustainable and more innovative.
What are your duties and responsibilities
- Translate quotations into technical solutions.
- Collect and process all relevant specifications and revisions per project.
- From the project structure, monitor progress and schedule for each project.
- Manage drawings and technical documentation.
- Working closely with production sales and purchasing department.
- Contribute to product and process optimization.
- Working closely with R&D on a project basis
- Reporting to Head of Engineering.
What we ask
- A completed college degree in mechanical engineering, automotive or similar technical field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience.
- Technical, analytical and innovative thinking skills.
- Experience in delivering customer-specific, cost-effective solutions.
- An independent work ethic, but also a true team player.
- Good communication skills and command of the Dutch and English languages both verbally and in writing.
- Experience with 3D CAD software.
- Experience with PDM and ERP system is a plus.
- Affinity with electrical engineering and hydraulics is a plus
