As a result of this growth, a new ERP system is being implemented, which demands a lot of extra time from our buyer. As a result, various daily administrative tasks at the operational level within the purchasing department are structurally receiving too little attention, both in the short and long term. As Administrative Assistant Purchasing Support, you will play a crucial role in supporting our purchasing department.
Your duties will include
- Processing purchase orders and maintaining order statuses in the purchasing system.
- In consultation with the buyer, liaise with suppliers regarding orders, delivery times and any discrepancies.
- Reviewing and processing purchase invoices, including coordinating with financial administration.
- Managing purchasing records and archiving relevant documentation.
- Assisting the purchasing agent with ad hoc tasks and projects as needed.
What do we expect from you?
- You have at least MBO working and thinking level, preferably in an administrative direction.
- You have relevant administration experience, preferably within a purchasing department or similar environment.
- You are accurate, structured and can handle deadlines well.
- You are communicative and can work well together within a team.
- You have an affinity for automation systems and are quick to pick up new software.
