Job description

Many customers have service maintenance contracts with Burgers at one of the Dutch Burgers service locations and/or with foreign partners. Approximately eighty standardized service & repair procedures are applied for the purpose of performing service appointments and repairs. A process has been initiated to inventory and analyze these eighty service procedures, both for their technical execution and for cost-related administrative handling. Subsequently, the intention is to make these procedures more accessible for both domestic and international locations through a cloud environment.

We are looking for an intern who is interested in initiating research, together with the service manager, to determine how various service appointments and repairs are currently conducted and how this can be translated into an accessible cloud environment for both domestic and international service colleagues and partners. Based on this research, recommendations can be made on how the Service Cloud environment can be adjusted and expanded alongside the existing Service Webshop. If there is enough time after the research, the intern will also have the opportunity to implement the recommendations derived from the research within the service organization. This presents a valuable opportunity for an (intern or graduate) intern to contribute something tangible and visible within the Burgers service organization. An additional advantage is that the graduation internship may potentially lead to a permanent position.

Working conditions

A 3rd or 4th year higher professional education (HBO) student in automotive engineering, mechanical engineering, or technical management, available for a period of 4-6 months. You are skilled at working independently, but you also thrive as a team player. You possess resilience to stress, flexibility, precision, and a strong focus on quality. Additionally, you demonstrate strong analytical skills and proactivity. A competitive internship stipend and travel allowance are provided.
