Position: Production Planner
Job Description:
Given the strong growth and well-filled order book of our client, we are looking for a driven and experienced Head of Engineering / Production Planning. Based on your accumulated technical knowledge and experience in similar positions, in this role you will be responsible for meeting tight deadlines and interacting quickly and appropriately with various departments, including the business office, purchasing department, production planning and production.
Responsibilities:
Provide direction to the engineering department and therein a direct bridge to the production planning department. From the engineering department the focus is on the (to be optimized) production processes and a supporting role towards the business office.
Coordinating supporting project/engineering order activities to meet deadlines.
Working together with other departments to achieve production targets.
Supporting role in proposing innovative solutions and improvements within the production process.
Job Requirements:
Minimum 5 years experience in a similar position within preferably a technical manufacturing company.
Strong communication skills.
Experience with project management and meeting tight deadlines.
Problem solving skills and the ability to quickly switch between different activities and departments.
