Job description:
As a buyer you play a crucial role in ensuring an efficient supply chain and obtaining quality parts and materials for the series and project production processes. You maintain contacts with various suppliers at home and abroad and conduct negotiations on a regular basis in accordance with the strategic purchasing policy. You work closely with various stakeholders to optimize purchasing strategies and strive for cost savings and improved delivery times. You preferably have several years of experience in a similar position that you now want to continue with the next employer. Responsibilities:
Negotiating and concluding purchasing contracts with suppliers at home and abroad
Actively manage supplier relationships and evaluate performance
Analyzing market trends and supplier ratings to improve competitiveness
Carefully monitor inventories and timely replenishment of materials
Collaborate with internal departments to understand needs and anticipate future requirements
Using ERP systems for accurate data recording and reporting
Requirements:
At least 5 years of experience as a buyer, preferably in a production environment
Excellent knowledge of purchasing processes and supplier management
Experience with ERP systems
Excellent negotiation skills and analytical skills
Fluent in both Dutch and English, both spoken and written, any other language is a plus
Strong communication skills and team-oriented mentality
